Submersible pumps are used typically used in well pumping applications, however they can also be placed in a pond or creek, or just about anywhere that allows the pump to be completely submerged. Submersible pumps can be used in pressurized and non-pressurized irrigation, home water systems and livestock watering. Although there are no limits to how large a solar-powered water pumping system can be built, deep well applications can require quite a large number of solar panels.
