Dankoff Solar Water Pumps

Our mission at SC Solar is to provide you with the most efficient, durable and economical solar pump available for your application. Dankoff's first pump, the Solar Slowpump, has endured for twenty years with no modifications. The SunCentric solar pump has proven indispensable in many applications including swimming pool filtration, hydronic heating, irrigation, and aquaculture. The Flowlight Booster Pump and Solar Force Piston Pump supply many rural homes with city water pressure.

For locations without power lines, Lorentz solar water pumps offer a clean and simple alternative to fuel-burning generators and windmills. They require no fuel deliveries, and very little maintenance. A solar pump, produces the most water when it is needed the most -- when the weather is sunny and dry!  Lorentz solar power pumps can operate directly off of solar electric (photovoltaic or "PV ") panels, batteries or any DC power source. They are most commonly operated off solar electric panels which is why they are known as solar pumps. Some of the pump models can be ordered to operate off AC power for situations where utility or generator power is available but efficiency is paramount.

APPLICATIONS:
Deep well pumping
Irrigation (lift and pressurized)
Livestock (pipeline transfer, pond and stream protection)
Home and village supply
Medical clinics
Camp sites, vacation cabins
Water purification and treatment systems, Solar water heating and Hydronic floor heating

Solar surface pumps are installed at ground level to lift water from shallow water sources such as shallow wells, ponds, streams or storage tanks. Surface pumps can also be used to provide pressurized water for irrigation or home water systems. Surface pumps are usually limited to 20 feet of suction capacity (how far they can pull the water) but can lift or push water up to 900 feet. Dankoff Solar pumps can provide as little as .5 gallons per minute and up to 70 gallons per minute. The pressurizing solar pumps offer between 30 and 70 psi. Surface pumps must always be protected from weather and freezing.
