Xantrex, formerly Trace
Engineering, offers inverters for almost every conceivable application from
small power needs to large. Xantrex offers solar
power inverters from 500 watts up to 11,000 watts of continuous power. Xantrex inverters and Trace inverter accessories are
fully certified to North American standards, testing conducted by ETL or by
UL (Underwriters Laboratories).
Summer
cabins with modest AC requirements such as lights and television can get by
with the smallest, UX series inverters. Solar electric or wind power
homes, farms and ranches that require greater amounts of AC power to run
well pumps, washing machines, shop tools, and computers can use the
Xantrex DR
series and Xantrex SW series inverter, and SWPlus series inverters.

Xantrex SW
Plus Series Sine Wave

Available in 24 and 48-volt versions.
The Xantrex SW Plus sine wave inverter offers
continuous power output of 2.5 kW. The SW Plus inverter provides AC power
for household appliances and DC power to charge batteries.
The Xantrex
SW Plus can also be used as part of a backup power system to automatically
provide AC power when utility power fails. For supplementary power for
either on or off the grid, the inverter
/charger can be programmed to automatically start and stop a generator,
based on user needs.
